Regarding Mass Effect on the PC: It's a bit good. Rather like being in a space opera a la Star Wars. The Mouse/Keyboard control setup does feel intuitive and the game is very easy to play.

That's not to say it's an easy game to complete. It's set just right in my opinion. Certainly one of the better RPGs of recent years.

And, like many of you, I'm utterly drooling over Fallout 3.

The Eldar/Tyranid Trailer for Dawn of War 2 is looking damm fine.

The cast Trailer for Red Alert 3 is pretty good as well.

The naval warfare in Total:War Empires is also look spectacular

Too many things to look forward to - and not enough time to enjoy them Sad

Mass Effect is kinda like Knights of the old republic~ish IMO, game experience wise (not talking about same system or anything like that).

Have had some fun recently playing with the 100% unlocked Spore creature editor and due to Fallout III I've been giving Fallout II another go as well.

Trying to give up on MMO's...hope I can resist the addictiveness of it all!

Back in town, and was playing Spore (albeit with hideous amounts of Jet lag) all yesterday....

I hope it was just the jet lag, but it aint all that fun, I love the creature stage - basically cos designing and upgrading the creatures is fun... but other that was a fairly bland experience... Oh and learnt that playing space stage on hard means getting eaten LOTS!

But even without spore, I've got a mountain of new games t0 try Very Happy

Colonisation - suprisingly good, arguably better than civ IV, since its got more varied gameplay - however it does have some issues namely Civ IV's sucky combat system (which is crap, even though its an improvement on every other civ game - i mean COME ON! no way should I need worry whenever my battleship is attacked by a bleedin catapult!

then theres LEGO Batman - great mindless hangover game, no thinking required. The new stalker game, which is just something to tide over the post apocalypse fans till Fallout 3, and Crysis warhead - a passable few hours of brainless shooting.

Not bad for just one month!

Warhammer online looks awesome, but I'd say wait till about april when the XMas games are all old and theres nothing coming out till september again before immersing youself in such a massive lifeeating game
